Keyword Research Automation
A desktop workflow that consolidates research exports, categorises keywords, and removes negative terms according to configurable rules.
About the system
This automation processes CSV and spreadsheet exports from keyword research platforms and combines them into a structured master file. Configurable rules support categorisation and the removal of negative keywords.
Our role
We analysed the manual research procedure and built the complete automation and desktop interface used to configure and run it.
How we approached it
The original workflow was decomposed into import, normalisation, consolidation, categorisation, negative-keyword filtering, and export steps. Python and Pandas provided the processing pipeline, wxPython exposed the configuration through a desktop UI, and PyInstaller packaged the solution so it could run without a development environment.
Technology context
The application uses Python, Pandas, NumPy, and wxPython. It was packaged as a standalone executable for practical use outside a development environment.
