Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Blockflake collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our websites, digital services, and mobile applications.
1. Who we are
Blockflake provides software development, business process optimization, automation, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure services. In this policy, “Blockflake,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Blockflake business responsible for the website, service, or application you are using.
For privacy questions or requests, contact us at info@blockflakes.com.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to:
- the Blockflake website and its contact forms;
- mobile applications published by Blockflake that link to this policy;
- digital products and services that expressly reference this policy; and
- advertising delivered through Google AdMob in applicable Blockflake applications.
A particular application may display an additional notice describing app-specific permissions, features, or data practices. If that notice conflicts with this policy, the more specific notice will apply to that application.
3. Information we collect
Information you provide
We may collect your name, email address, company name, project requirements, support messages, and any other information you choose to provide through a form, email, or direct communication.
Website and technical information
When you use our website or services, we and our service providers may process IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, diagnostic information, and security logs. We may use cookies or similar technologies where they are enabled and permitted.
Information processed in apps that use AdMob
Some Blockflake applications may use the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google AdMob. Depending on the device, app configuration, region, consent choices, and advertising mode used, Google and its advertising partners may process:
- advertising identifiers and other device identifiers;
- IP address and general location information;
- device, operating system, app, and language information;
- ad impressions, clicks, interactions, and conversion information;
- diagnostic, performance, security, and fraud-prevention information; and
- consent and privacy preference signals.
The precise data collected can vary by platform, SDK version, permissions, and app configuration. Review the privacy disclosures shown in the relevant app store and the app’s in-product privacy controls for app-specific details.
4. How we use information
We may use information to:
- respond to enquiries and provide requested services;
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve our websites and applications;
- diagnose errors and prevent spam, abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
- measure performance and understand how our services are used;
- display, measure, and improve advertising in AdMob-enabled apps;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms; and
- send service-related communications and, where permitted, marketing communications.
5. Google AdMob and advertising choices
AdMob-enabled applications may show personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads. Personalized ads may use information about your activity and interests. Non-personalized ads are selected using contextual information, although device information may still be processed for delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. Limited ads restrict the use of personal data for ad personalization, but some technical information, including IP addresses, may still be used to deliver ads and protect against abuse.
Google explains how it uses information from partner apps and sites on its partner technologies page and provides advertising controls through My Ad Center.
Where required, an AdMob-enabled app will request consent before using device storage or personal data for advertising. Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland can revisit or withdraw their advertising consent from the privacy settings or consent options provided inside the applicable app. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
6. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: your consent; performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract; compliance with legal obligations; and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights. Advertising personalization and access to information stored on a device will be based on consent where required by law.
7. How we share information
We may share information with:
- hosting, infrastructure, analytics, communication, and security providers;
- Google and advertising partners when an app uses AdMob;
- professional advisers where necessary;
- authorities or other parties when required by law or to protect rights and safety; and
- a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of assets.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define targeted advertising or certain disclosures to advertising partners as a “sale” or “sharing.” Where those laws apply, we provide the choices required by law through the applicable app or service.
8. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, maintaining business and security records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the type of information, the service involved, and applicable law. Third-party providers may apply their own retention periods under their privacy policies.
9. International data transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions or approved contractual protections.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; receive a portable copy of your information; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising or certain sharing; and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions.
To make a request, email info@blockflakes.com and describe the right you wish to exercise. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
11. Children’s privacy
Our general business website and services are not directed to children. Applications intended for children, or that may be used by children, will use age-appropriate disclosures and advertising settings as required by applicable law and platform policies. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner prohibited by law. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Third-party links and services
Our websites and applications may link to services operated by third parties. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review those policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal requirements, or data practices. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
15. Contact us
Questions, complaints, and privacy requests can be sent to info@blockflakes.com or through our contact page.
